The gemstones are held within a stylized six-prong starburst setting, which features tapered, rounded prongs. Each earring is mounted on a straight post and secured with a butterfly friction back. The reverse of the earring heads bears the impressed metal purity marks Pt and 900. Corresponding Pt900 hallmarks are located on the butterfly backings.
