A Natural Black Opal and Diamond Platinum Pt900 Cocktail Ring with Certificate - This platinum cocktail ring features a central natural black opal weighing 1.46 carats. The oval cabochon stone is secured by four double-claws and displays a play-of-color with green, blue, and orange flashes. A multi-tiered halo of diamonds totaling 0.65 carats surrounds the center stone, composed of baguette-cut diamonds in a fan arrangement at the top and round brilliant-cut diamonds throughout the remainder. The setting is constructed with an ornate open-work wire basket and a split-shoulder shank. The interior of the band is stamped Pt900 on one side, and 146 D0.65 on the opposite side. An accompanying Certificate of Gem Identification from the Oriental Gem Laboratory identifies the center stone as a natural black opal. Opal dimensions: 10.01 x 8.28 x 2.80 mm Total weight: 7.9 g.
