Bernardaud - Bernardaud Limoges ”Twist Platinum” Salad Plate 8.5” -- New, Platinum Banded Porcelain. A Bernardaud Limoges salad plate in the Twist Platinum pattern, 8.5 inches in diameter, new and unused. The plate is fine white Limoges porcelain with a wide rim worked in the deep basketweave relief that defines the Twist line, finished in applied platinum. Because the metal is laid over the moulded texture, the rim reads as genuinely woven metal rather than as a flat band, and it frames a plain undecorated white well. Bernardaud has produced porcelain at Limoges since 1863 and remains family-owned. Measurements: 8.5 inches in diameter. Condition: New with tags. Unused, with no wear to the platinum. Note: As with all platinum-decorated porcelain, this plate is not microwave safe.
