Vintage Hermes Cheval Turc Silk Carre 90 - This vintage Hermes silk carre 90 features the Cheval Turc pattern originally designed by Christiane Vauzelles in 1969. The central motif depicts a caparisoned stallion in golden tones, led by a groom in traditional Ottoman-style dress featuring coral-pink and purple garments. The scene is framed by an elaborate rococo composition of golden acanthus scrolls, stylized shells, and floral elements set against a deep navy blue ground. The design is enclosed by a coral-pink inner border and a wide navy blue outer border finished with hand-rolled and hand-stitched hems. The top central scroll is printed with the mark Hermes Paris, and the lower central scroll is printed with the pattern title Cheval Turc. 90 x 90 cm (35.4 x 35.4 inches).
