Hermes Feux d'Artifice Silk Carre 90 - This Hermes silk carre 90 features the Feux d'Artifice (Fireworks) pattern designed by Michel Duchene to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the house. The central motif depicts a 19th-century cavalier on horseback surrounded by pyrotechnic displays and decorative wheels. The design is executed in a vibrant royal blue, magenta pink, emerald green, and golden yellow colorway on a white ground. This example is printed on jacquard silk featuring a woven-in starburst or firework motif throughout the fabric. The border is detailed with white firework bursts. Marks integrated into the design include HERMES PARIS at the top of the central frame and FEUX D'ARTIFICE at the bottom. The anniversary dates 1837 and 1987 are integrated into the architectural frame. A copyright mark reading HERMES is located near the bottom left corner, and a script signature for M. Duchene is visible near the inner border. The scarf is finished with hand-rolled and hand-stitched hems. 90 x 90 cm (35.4 x 35.4 inches).
