A Vintage Chanel Sewing Doll Gold Tone Figural Brooch - This is a vintage Chanel figural brooch from the Autumn 2003 collection, designed in the whimsical motif of a sewing lady or doll. The figure is cleverly constructed from dressmaking tools: the head consists of a sewing machine bobbin framed by a hair element set with faux pearls; the torso is formed by the handles of a pair of scissors; the skirt is a thimble; and the four limbs are depicted as sewing needles. The piece is crafted from gold-tone base metal with a brushed matte finish. The front of the thimble skirt is embossed with the name CHANEL and features a decorative band of small white faux pearls. The reverse of the thimble skirt bears an oval cartouche with an upper arc reading (C) CHANEL (R), a center line with 03, the CC logo, and A, and a bottom arc reading MADE IN FRANCE.
