Hermes La Reale (Vue du Carrosse de la Galere La Reale) Silk Carre 90 - This Hermes silk carre 90, titled La Reale or Vue du Carrosse de la Galere La Reale, was designed by Hugo Grygkar and first issued in 1953. The central motif depicts a detailed stern view of the 17th-century French flagship galley, La Reale, featuring ornate gold Baroque carvings, fleur-de-lis patterns, and red fabric canopies. The nautical theme includes sailors on the decks and anchor motifs in the corners, all framed by a printed golden rope and fringe border against a navy blue outer margin. The composition is set against a cream white background. The scarf is finished with hand-rolled and hand-stitched edges. The text VUE DU CARROSSE DE appears at the top, with LA GALERE and LA REALE at the bottom left and right respectively. A printed mark HERMES-PARIS is located in the bottom margin, and a copyright mark reading (C) HERMES is present on the right side.
