Vintage Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Lily Pattern Berry Spoon 107.9g - This vintage sterling silver berry or sugar sifter spoon is crafted in the Art Nouveau style, featuring a scalloped shell-form bowl and a highly decorated repousse handle. The handle is embellished with a dense botanical motif of lilies and irises with long, flowing foliage that continues down the stem toward the bowl. The reverse of the neck bears an impressed hallmark consisting of a capital letter A inside a pointed shield shape, positioned above a rectangular cartouche containing the word STERLING in capital block letters. The floral decoration is executed with high relief, characteristic of American silver production from the early 20th century.
