Vintage Bohemian Garnet and Gold Filled 11.7g Six Pointed Star Brooch - A vintage Bohemian garnet brooch designed as a tiered six-pointed star or snowflake. The construction features a gold filled metal base supporting a central cluster of rose-cut pyrope garnets. A round faceted garnet occupies the center, surrounded by six pear-shaped garnets and six smaller round garnets, all set in a multi-layered, pave-style arrangement. The outer points of the star are densely set with multiple rows of small, round rose-cut garnets, totaling dozens of stones in a deep, saturated wine-red hue. The reverse displays a textured metal framework with circular apertures behind the stone settings. A vertical pin stem is secured by a rolling safety barrel catch. Weight: 11.7g.
