Vintage Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban Gold Shooter Aviator Sunglasses with Case - This pair of vintage Ray-Ban Shooter aviator sunglasses was manufactured in the United States by Bausch & Lomb. A specialized variation of the classic aviator, this model features the distinctive circular bullet hole bridge and a cream-colored synthetic sweat bar designed for outdoorsmen and marksmen. The gold-toned wire frames are equipped with G-15 dark green glass lenses and cable temples, also known as shooter temples, which curve to wrap securely around the ear. The top of the bridge is impressed with the mark B&L RAY-BAN U.S.A. The sunglasses feature clip-on style synthetic nose pads in a matching light cream color. The lenses lack the BL etching introduced in the mid-1970s. Accompanying the eyewear is a tan pebble-grain protective case featuring a circular black stamp that reads BAUSCH & LOMB at the top, RAY-BAN in center script, and IMPACT RESISTANT LENSES at the bottom.
