Lot of 41 United States 90% Silver Half Dollars - A collection of United States 90% silver half dollars, including individual examples alongside two cylindrical plastic coin storage tubes containing multiple reeded silver half dollars. The individual coins comprise a 1943 Walking Liberty half dollar designed by Adolph A. Weinman, showing Liberty draped in the American flag on the obverse and an eagle perched on a mountain pine on the reverse; a 1952 Benjamin Franklin half dollar featuring John R. Sinnock's portrait of Franklin on the obverse and the Liberty Bell flanked by an eagle on the reverse; and a 1964 Kennedy half dollar with the Gilroy Roberts profile of John F. Kennedy on the obverse and Frank Gasparro's modified Presidential Seal on the reverse. The obverses bear their respective dates and the mottoes LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, while the reverses are inscribed UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, HALF DOLLAR, and E PLURIBUS UNUM. The tubes hold stacks of silver coins displaying characteristic reeded edges.
