Louis Vuitton - LOUIS VUITTON KEEPALL 50, RED EPI LEATHER (M42967). Louis Vuitton Keepall 50 travel duffle in Castilian red Epi leather with brass hardware. Textured Epi grain body with smooth leather trim bands running around the bag, twin rolled leather top handles with removable handle holder, double LV-engraved zip pulls, and the embossed LV initials to the lower corner. Includes the matching Epi leather luggage tag and poignet strap. Comes with Louis Vuitton dust bag, ribbon and booklet. The Keepall is the bag that started modern soft luggage -- Louis Vuitton introduced it in the 1930s as a bag light enough to fold and carry, and it has never left the line. Epi was the house's first fully textured leather, launched in 1985; the early Castilian red is the strongest of the vintage Epi colors and is no longer produced in this shade. The 50 is the carry-on size. Measures approximately 20 in wide x 11 in high x 9 in deep. Condition report: Good. Epi leather retains strong color and grain, structure firm; smooth leather trim shows darkening and patina along the base and edge seams with light rubbing at the corners; handles firm and intact with light wear at the attachment tabs. Zips run smoothly, brass hardware with honest tarnish and wear to the plating. Interior clean. Luggage tag, poignet, dust bag, ribbon and booklet included.
