A Vintage Hermes Early America Salmon Silk Carre 90 NWT - This Hermes silk carre 90 is crafted from silk twill in the Early America pattern by Carl de la Perriere. The design features a salmon-colored ground with a central medallion depicting Lady Washington and General Georg Washington, surrounded by an intricate circular arrangement of birds, squirrels, horses, and deer among stylized foliage. The composition includes children riding patterned big cats and is framed by a wide grey border of silhouetted animals and scrolling vines. The scarf is finished with hand-rolled and hand-stitched hems. Printed marks include the title EARLY AMERICA at the top center border, the designer signature C. de la PERRIERE in the lower-left inner field, and the copyright mark (c) HERMES in the upper-left inner field. The brand mark HERMES - PARIS appears in a rectangular cartouche at the lower-right.
