Vintage Hermes Thalassa Green Silk Carre 90 - This vintage Hermes silk carre 90 features the Thalassa pattern designed by artist Pierre Peron, originally issued in 1973. The nautical composition illustrates an assortment of vibrant, stylized sailboats and dinghies in primary shades of blue, red, and yellow against a white ground, enclosed within a bold green border. The scarf is constructed from silk twill with hand-rolled and hand-stitched hems. Visible markings include the pattern name THALASSA printed on a boat hull in the upper right quadrant, a yellow and black HERMES - PARIS cartouche at the lower center, and the artist signature P. PERON at the bottom right edge. A copyright mark reading (c) HERMES appears at the top left. A white fabric care label is attached to the edge and reads FABRIQUE EN FRANCE and 100% SOIE. 90 x 90 cm (35.4 x 35.4 inches).
