Vintage Hermes Herbier de Gavarnie (Gavarnie Herbarium) Cream Silk Carre 90 - This is a Hermes silk carre 90 in the Herbier de Gavarnie pattern designed by artist Francoise de La Perriere. The design features a botanical theme with various alpine plants and flowers native to the Gavarnie region, each accompanied by its French name such as ARNICA, SAFRAN, and ANEMONE. The specimens are displayed within a graphic frame composed of wooden stakes and golden rope. The cream-colored border is detailed with a subtle tone-on-tone jacquard weave pattern of bees. The scarf is finished with hand-rolled hems. The title Herbier de Gavarnie is printed at the bottom center, with the artist signature F. de LA PERRIERE at the bottom right and the copyright mark (c) HERMES at the bottom left.
