The design features a naturalistic central scene with three partridges settled among various garden flora, including pinks, wild roses, and lilies. The central cream field is bordered by elaborate golden rococo-style foliate scrolls and intertwined lattice-patterned ribbons. A wide, deep burgundy-red border frames the entire composition.
