Each earring is composed of a near-round white pearl mounted onto a sterling silver post with a flower-shaped cup. The earrings are secured by matching sterling silver butterfly backings. The metal components exhibit a dark oxidized patina and tarnish throughout. The earring posts bear a stamped mark reading (c) T&Co. 925. The butterfly backings are stamped with the marks T&Co. and 925. The pearls display a white body color with moderate luster and visible yellowish adhesive residue at the mounting junctions.
