Vintage Hermes L'Atlantide (The Atlantis) Silk Carre 90 - This Hermes silk carre 90 in the L'Atlantide (The Atlantis) pattern was designed by artist Annie Faivre. The composition features a highly detailed, fantastical classical landscape of the legendary lost city, populated with elephants, chariots, dolphins, and Pegasus among ornate architectural ruins. The central scene is rendered in a palette of blue, green, and yellow, framed by an inner red border containing white rococo architectural columns and scrolls, all set against a navy blue outer border. The scarf is finished with hand-rolled and hand-stitched hems. The pattern title L'ATLANTIDE is integrated into a draped fabric motif at the top center, and the designer signature A. Faivre is located in the lower-left landscape section. The HERMES-PARIS brand mark appears in the lower right scrollwork, accompanied by a (c) HERMES copyright mark on the upper left side.
