Hermes Les Tambours Silk Scarf - This square silk twill scarf features the Les Tambours pattern, designed by Joachim Metz for Hermes and first issued in 1989. The design is set against a navy blue ground and depicts an array of historical drums, drumsticks, and military epaulets in shades of gold, red, blue, and green. The central medallion contains the title LES TAMBOURS above crossed drumsticks. A wide decorative border composed of a twisted rope motif, golden medallions, and royal crowns frames the composition. The scarf is constructed with hand-rolled and hand-stitched edges. Visible inscriptions include HERMES - PARIS along the lower center and a copyright mark ((c) HERMES) integrated into the design of a drum. One drum features the text GARDE NATIONALE.
