Andy Warhol was a leading figure in the Pop Art movement, renowned for his exploration of consumer culture and celebrity. His innovative use of mass-production techniques, such as silkscreen printing, allowed him to produce iconic works featuring everyday objects and famous faces. Warhol’s art challenged traditional boundaries between high and low culture, transforming commercial imagery into profound artistic statements. His studio, The Factory, became a vibrant hub for artists, musicians, and socialites. Despite his death in 1987, Warhol’s influence endures, with his works remaining central to discussions of art, media, and consumerism.
