WWII PHILADELPHIA NURSE CAPE
Gray and red wool nurses cape from WWII, embroidered with 'M.H.S.N.', likely for Mercy Hospital Student Nurse, approx. 44 inches in length. Maker's label at nape of neck, 'G.D. Williams & Co., Nurses Outfitters, Philadelphia, PA', three embroidered patches on inside left side, 'J.A.F.', likely previous owner's initials. Small chain at nape of neck for hanging when not worn. Small tear in lining at nape of neck, slight mothing, and few frayed edges.
