WWII LUFTWAFFE FLIGHT LOG BOOK 3. NACHTFLUGSTAFFEL
WWII Luftwaffe flight log book from Luftwaffe Unteroffizier Gerhard Meier with the 3. Nachtflugstaffel. The flight book starts on 15.4.1939, has 39 pages filled out and a last entry on 13.10.1941, Pleskau/Russia. Included are five photocopies of his award certificates, Meier was awarded the Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class, the reconnaissance front flying clasp in bronze and silver, and the Sudetenland medal. The log book records the dates and times of his flights, some of the planes he flew included the FW 44, Dornier DO 17, Junkers Ju 52, and Heinkel He111. His first enemy flight seems to be from Insterburg on the Do 17 on 25.6 1941, he continues engaging with the enemy in Russia. His last recorded flight is 13. October 1941. Very good.
