WWII U.S. CIVILIAN DEFENSE GROUPING (16) - Civilian Defense grouping including three handbooks, three notices, three sleeve patches, three stickers, two cloth armbands, a group of plastic armbands (stuck together), and an Air Raid System cardboard poster. Civilian Defense was a federal war agency set up in 1941 to coordinate state and federal measures to protect civilians in case of a war emergency. Minor soiling, minor tears, and minor folds due to age and wear. Poster has horizontal crease with old tape repair on verso. 16 pieces.
