GERMAN WWII PASS TO ENTER POLAND - Rare German permit from 1942 to enter the Generalgouvernement for the Occupied Polish Territories. Research shows that a permit was required for entry to the occupied areas in addition to a a passport or other identification containing a picture. The permit registration number is 56,738 and was issued to a Herrmann Pausch, a businessman from Danzig, issued on 5. March 1942. It is signed and stamped by the police president and inspector in Danzig and valid for a period of three months. One page, 3.75 x 6 inches.
