TESTIMONY ON HELICOPTERS TO HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
Booklet of testimony and photographs of autogiros, the precursor to helicopters, given to the Committee on Military Affairs of the House of Representatives in 1938. 70 pages. Inscription on front page by Agnew E. Larsen, (1897-1969) aircraft engineer, dated May 21, 1938. With testimony are three photographs of U.S. Army Air Corps officers testing out autogiros. Photographs taken September 12, 1935. Small description attached to one photograph identifies the officers. Photos are 8.25 x 10 inches. Testimony is 11 x 8.75 inches. Cover of testimony has minor soiling and one photograph has folded corner.
