GERMAN GREATNESS EXIBITION CATALOG
German exhibition catalog 'Deutsche Groesse' (German Greatness), Munich, 8. November 1940, 395 pages, staple bound, 7.25 x 5 inches. Published for the art exhibition held in Munich showcasing many pieces of great German art. The event was sponsored by Rudolf Hess and organized by Alfred Rosenberg. Few original pieces were shown except for sculptures by Arno Breker and Josef Thorak. The other 2,000 or so pieces were facsimiles of the original items, put on display for the German public. The exhibition went on to run annually from 1938 to 1944. Foxing and loose pages.
