Proclamation by Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower, Supreme Allied Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force (SHAEF) adding complementary French banknotes into circulation to prevent a shortage and stating an official exchange rate to the US Dollar and British Pound Sterling. Poster, undated, ca. 1944/45, 10 x 13 inches. Small ink inscription on verso which bleeds through, minor tears, chipped margins, folds.
