HYACINTH GRAF STRACHWITZ - Hyacinth Graf Strachwitz von Groß-Zauche und Camminetz (1893-1968) German Generalleutnant and tank commander, nicknamed 'the Panzer Count'. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds. Hoffmann postcard, 3.5 x 5.5 inches, signed in black ink pen, with a post-war letter, Winkel, 26/II., no year, responding to a collector explaining that he was inundated with mail while he was ill, but he hopes that the enclosed photograph is the correct one. Approx 6 x 8 inches, one fold. Two pieces.
