KIRILL MOSKALENKO
(1902-1985) Marshal of the Soviet Union. A member of the Soviet Army who fought in both the Russian Civil War and World War II, he later served as Commander in Chief of Strategic Missile Forces and Inspector General for the Ministry of Defense. Signature in blue ink on a congratulatory greeting card addressed to Colonel-General Kharchenko: ‘My heartfelt congratulations on the 57th anniversary of the Great October. I sincerely wish you health, prosperity in life, and success in your work to strengthen our glorious armed forces. Marshal of the Soviet Union, K. Moskalenko.’ 3.5 x 5.5 inches, very good.
