SOVIET AND RUSSIAN MEDALS (7)
Great lot of seven Soviet and Russian Federation medals. The Soviet medals include Jubilee Medal '30 Years of the Soviet Army and Navy', Jubilee Medal '50 Years of the Soviet Militia', and Jubilee Medal '40 Years of the Armed Forces of the USSR'. The newer medals, awarded in the post-Soviet time, include a commemorative medal celebrating the 850th anniversary of the founding of Moscow, a medal presented to a veteran of the Afgan War 1979-1989, a medal awarded for impeccable service in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, and a medal commemorating the 300-year anniversary of the Russian Navy. The latter medal comes with the official award certificate presented to Vasilii Vasil'evich Savinsky in 1996. The certificate has the seal and a printed signature of Boris Yeltsin, the first President of Russia.
