CONCENTRATION CAMP CAP
German concentration camp cap in the blue and gray striped patterned cloth. At the camps, only men were given these caps. The design was never the same as these were made at several of the larger camps. Different camps used different patterns and fabrics, neither were the colors always the same. This cap has a yellow triangle and a label with the number 'A-43547' sewn to the front. While there is no information about the owner of this cap or which camp it came from, it is possible that the owner was a survivor of Auschwitz.
