WWII POLICE REGISTRATION FOR A JEW IN PRAGUE - WWII POLICE REGISTRATION FOR A JEW IN PRAGUE German WWII police registration card issued in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia to identify and register Jews in occupied Czechoslovakia. This file card identifies Josef Vesely, born 31.1.1884, living in Prague, as a Jew and is stamped twice with a red capital 'J' in opposite corners and again stamped 'Jude' below his name. The file card is dated, Prague, 22. January 1942. The reverse is unfilled. 5.875 x 8.25 inches. Printed bilingual in German and Czech. Documentation from Theresienstadt concentration camp shows that Vesely was transported to Theresienstadt Ghetto on 12.9.1942 and survived.
