JEWISH ASSETS SEIZED IN BOHEMIA AND MORAVIA - JEWISH ASSETS SEIZED IN BOHEMIA AND MORAVIA Printed letter, Prague 25. June 1942, one page, from the Central Office for Jewish Emigration in Prague (Zentralstelle fur judische Auswanderung in Prag) sent to the Prague Credit Bank Branch in Budweis, ordering the transfer of all assets and funds from the Jewish-owned savings and blocked accounts to the resettlement account number 1003 of the Emigration Fund for Bohemia and Moravia, including all future deposits for the named accounts. In addition, the office demands the number combinations for opening Jewish-owned bank vaults and a list of owner names, and a detailed list of transferred amounts, stocks and bonds, valuables. File holes and mailing fold. Very good. The office in Prague was headed by Adolf Eichmann, and dealt with the expulsion of the Jews of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, all other Jewish matters including Theresienstadt, deportations into the concentration camps, and became the executive body for the 'Jewish Question' in Bohemia and Moravia.
