Rare WWI souvenir photographic postcard in a small booklet 'Souvenir du Wagon du Marechal Foch, dans lequel fut signe l'Armistice du 11 Novembre 1918 10 Cartes postales Artistiques. Foret de Compiegne'. 10 original photographic collotype plates printed as detachable postcards, each protected with tissue-guards. Captioned in length at bottom, commemorating the signing of the armistice of WWI in French Marshal Ferdinand Foch's own railway car at the Forest of Compiegne on 11 November, 1918, 5.75 x 3.5 in., spine unglued, first introductory page is loose, all photo postcards are still stapled together, rust staining due to a small damp spot on the back cover. With the original purchase receipt. Very good.
