POLISH GRUNWALD BADGE & CITATION - Grunwald Commemorative Badge (Odznaka Grunwaldzka) instituted by the Polish People's Army, awarded to combatants of the Polish Armed Forces, both in the East and West (only those who returned to Poland after the war), for their participation in the Second World War to commemorate the victory over Germany. Awarded to all Polish troops who fought for Berlin. It's a Bronze Badge in the form of a knights shield with an eagle at the top. Below the eagle 1410-1945 GRUNWALD BERLIN. Below this are two Grunwald swords in the center points down. With award certificate issued to female Red Army Senior Sergeant Zofii Linnik, Moscow, 3.II.1948.
