Sony Super Betamax Video Cassette Recorders - Pair of vintage Sony Betamax video cassette recorders including an earlier Sony Betamax Model SL-5010 front-loading unit and Sony Super Betamax Model SL-340. The SL-5010 features mechanical tape counter, channel selector bank, Betascan controls and front audio/video connections. The SL-340 features electronic tuner/timer display, SuperBeta picture system, front-loading cassette mechanism and audio/video connections. The SL-5010 comes with its original Sony Betamax factory box. Desirable group of vintage home-video electronics representing two generations of Sony's Betamax format. Both units power on but have not been fully tested; functionality beyond powering on is unknown. Overall good vintage cosmetic condition with age-appropriate wear.
