Pre WWII Craftsman Axe & Single Bit Boy's Axe - Lot of two vintage single-bit axes comprising a Craftsman example with a 31-inch handle and approximately 3 1/2-pound head, together with a smaller boy's axe having a 24-inch handle. Both have curved wood handles with flared grips. CONDITION: Both heads show oxidation, pitting, scratches, edge wear, and remnants of old paint or finish. Handles exhibit staining, scuffs, dents, and grain checking; the smaller handle has chipping and splintering around the eye.
