E.G Waterman Co. Knife - E.G. Waterman Co. fixed-blade fighting knife with a 6 1/4-inch clip-point sawback steel blade incorporating an opener notch at the ricasso. Fitted with an oval guard, grooved turned-wood grip with metal spacers, and ring-mounted pommel. The ricasso is marked ”E.G.W. / KNIFE.” Accompanied by a riveted and stitched leather belt sheath with retaining strap. Overall length with sheath 11 3/4 inches. CONDITION: Blade shows sharpening marks, scratches, scattered oxidation, and areas of pitting. The grip has cracks and surface wear, with oxidation to the metal fittings. Sheath exhibits substantial staining, abrasion, surface loss, dried leather, and wear around the stitching, rivets, and openings.
