John Derbyshire Uranium Glass Lion Figurine, Circa 1874–1900 - John Derbyshire uranium glass lion figurine, circa 1874. Press-moulded green uranium glass with detailed mane and body, depicting a recumbent lion. The base bears an anchor symbol and British diamond registration mark for July 1874, consistent with Derbyshire's designs produced at Regent Road Flint Glass Works, Manchester, England. Figurine measures about 7” wide and 5” tall. CONDITION: Some surface scratches visible on the figurine. 2 small chips along bottom edge shown in photos.
