Daniel Derveaux (FR, 1914-2010) Reconstructed 1575 Map of Paris - Daniel-Louis Derveaux (French, 1914-2010), reconstructed map of Paris as it might have appeared towards the end of the 16th Century, in the style of Willem Janszoon Blaeu (Dutch, 1571-1638) and Johann Baptist Homann (German, 1664–1724), labeled ”LVTETIA vulgo PARIS Anno 1575”, including detailed illustrations of streets and buildings, along with decorative elements such as a compass rose and architectural drawings, circa 1958, in a painted wood frame measuring 25” x 19-1/4”.
