Richards Belgian 12 Ga SxS Hammer Shotgun - Richards-marked Belgian 12 gauge side-by-side black-powder hammer shotgun with break action, long underlever, exposed hammers, double triggers, and two-shot configuration. Steel barrels with bead front sight, wood stock and forearm, checkered wrist, and steel buttplate. The back-action lockplates are marked ”RICHARDS” and decorated with small stylized motifs. Barrel flats bear Belgian Liege proof marks and 17.6 bore markings. CONDITION: Shows substantial age and use, with overall patina, oxidation, scattered pitting, finish loss, scratches, and handling wear throughout the metal. The top rib is lifted and separated near the breech. Wood has considerable scratches, dings, finish loss, darkening, and chipped or worn edges around the action inletting.
