3 European Imperial Badges and Metals - Four-piece European group comprising a Bavarian Military Merit Cross, likely Third Class without swords, displaying the Bavarian lion and 1866 on one medallion and a royal cipher with MERENTI on the other, suspended from a blue, white, and black ribbon; two French Verdun commemorative medals dated 21 Fevrier 1916, with differing obverse designs; and an ornate Imperial Russian heraldic-style chatelaine brooch or watch fob with double-headed eagle, multi-strand chain fringe, and wreath-form pendant. CONDITION: The Bavarian ribbon is heavily creased, stained, and frayed, with loose threads; the cross has scattered oxidation. Both Verdun medals have surface wear, patination, and oxidation, and one lacks its suspension ring. The heraldic fob has finish wear and oxidation, particularly on the reverse.
