DWM Luger P.08 9mm Pistol - DWM P.08 Luger toggle-lock semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, G-date code denoting 1935 production. Serial number 9626L; the receiver and frame are numbered 9626. German military configuration with 4-inch barrel, fixed sights, manual safety, stock lug, lanyard loop, checkered grip panels, 8-round capacity, and 8.75-inch overall length. The chamber bears the G code, the toggle bears the DWM monogram, and German military proof and acceptance markings are present. Includes two 8-round magazines, one bearing a German military proof or acceptance mark, a magazine loading tool, and a 1934-dated German military leather holster with maker and acceptance markings. CONDITION: Metal surfaces retain areas of dark finish with considerable thinning, edge and high-point wear, scratches, handling marks, and gray-brown patina. Checkered grips have pronounced flattening, scratches, wear, and discoloration. Yellow residue or material is present around the barrel-receiver junction and adjacent openings. Bore has light patina with crisp rifling remaining; action functions and feels mechanically sound. A visible small-part number 64 does not correspond to the serial ending 26. Magazines have finish loss, scratches, and wear. Holster has considerable scuffing, creasing, scratches, staining, finish loss, edge wear, and worn stitching and hardware.
