Sampler ”Mary Hope Age 9” - Antique framed embroidered schoolgirl's sampler, featuring alphabet and number rows, a text passage, crowns with initials, geometric borders, and ”Mary Hope Aged 9”, most likely stitched on linen and early to mid 19th Century, in a later dark stained wood frame measuring 21-1/2” x 12-1/8”. CONDITION: Not examined out of frame. Some discoloration, staining, spotting, and possible fading to sampler, frame shows scuffing and chipping, especially at corners, please see photos.
