Railfan photographs 1940's into 1980's? dated identified never seen - Railfan photographs from the 1940's into possibly the 1980's?. Many are dated and identified. Most of these were the personal photographs of the collector. They span New York to Pennsylvania over to Indiana area. Some of the subjects are; fully shrouded streamline passenger locomotives, roundhouse tender shots, train wrecks, Wabash RR J1 wreck, Mohawks taking on water, lots of NYC on the roundtables, 20th Century, Commodore Vanderbilt, snowplows, NYC 2828, interurban. Nearly all of the photos are of steam locomotives, freight and passenger. There are a few electric locomotive and a couple diesels in these photos. There are newspaper clippings, personal documents related to trains, and more. Great research project. Condition overall is very good to excellent.
