Collection of U.S. First Day Covers – Postal Rates, Energy, Conservation, and Commemoratives - This lot consists of a group of U.S. First Day Covers featuring a variety of subjects from the 1970s–1980s. Included are covers marking postal service issues such as rate changes, nonprofit authorization, and revalued envelopes, along with commemoratives for the 50th anniversary of the U.S.O., the Liberty Tree, and the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project. Other themes represented are environmental and energy issues, including environment conservation and renewable energy, as well as transportation such as railroads. Each cover bears a printed cachet and corresponding First Day of Issue postmark. Non-paying bidders will be permanently added to our No-Bid List. SHIPPING INFORMATION: Once your shipping label is generated, you will receive a tracking number from UPS or Stamps.com. Shipping cost is based on destination, size and weight of the package and calculated using the most cost-effective method within the USA. All packages will be insured at the cost of the buyer.
