Canada Stamp Album in Minkus Binder (1851–1972, 238 Stamps Present) - This lot is a Minkus Publications stamp album for Canada, covering issues from 1851 through 1972, including spaces for provinces such as British Columbia, Vancouver Island, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. The binder contains 238 mounted Canadian stamps; many spaces remain empty and numerous pages are unused. Notable issues present include the 1927 60th Anniversary of Confederation 2¢ “Fathers of Confederation,” various 1928–29 King George V Scroll Issue denominations, the 20¢ “Harvesting Wheat” pictorial, 1935 King George V and pictorials including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, commemoratives of the 1947 Alexander Graham Bell centenary, 1948 Royal Wedding, and later issues through 1972 such as Christmas stamps and Cornelius Krieghoff commemoratives.
