The Weekly 'Israel'  is a Jewish political-cultural weekly published in Florence from January 1916 to August 1974. The Weekly was born from the merger of "Il Correira Israelitico" (Trieste, 1862-1915) and "The Jewish Week" (Florence, 1910-1915). Its editors were Dante Lats and Alfonso Pacific until 1938. During World War II he ceased to exist. He returned to print in December 1944 under the direction of Carlo Alberto Viterbo. The weekly expressed the mood of Italian Jewry, with "remote support" of the Zionist idea, and the strengthening of national Jewish trends.
