Collection of travel books - Eretz Israel, first half of the 20th century
An important collection of 13 travel books for Eretz Israel, all but one of the first half of the 20th century. Photographs, maps, charts. All except one in English.
* PALESTINE PICTURED by ALFRED T. SCHOFIELD London and Wadenburg, around 1900. Early photographs from Eretz Israel. The leaflet contains a dedication from 1901.
*Eretz Israel and South Syria - Travels Book by Eretz Israel Express Company by Yeshayahu Peres, Benjamin Hertz Jerusalem Publishing [1921], three maps, five plans, two patterns and four artistic pictures by Ephraim Moshe Lilien.
*The AMERICAN COLONY PALESTINE GUID by THE AMERICAN COLONY STORES, PALESTINE 1930 with a map of Eretz Israel in lithographic print, and black and white photographs of important Jewish sites. At the end are advertising pages on behalf of the training department of American Colony.
