About 100 paper items from a major active estate in the Vilnius Organization to commemorate the perished, and to help survivors from Vilnius and surrounding communities.


Among other can find: A list of handwritten names of Holocaust survivors from the Jews of Vilnius who lived in Eretz Israel in the late 1940s. The list includes first names, home name, age, duration in Israel, parents' names, and residential address. Various assurances about the fate of survivors or perpetrators of Vilna Jewry signed by the first organization's chairman Dr. A. Rodnicki, and Secretary H. Kopilowitz [For example, "We hereby confirm that the girls Ilana and Julia Frozen ... were born in Vilnius on December 22, 1936, during the war, were with gentiles in the woods around Vilnius. The association of jews from vilna and vicinity, which began its operations in Europe after the war, and over the years has grown to hundreds of active members, was established to gather historical materials about the magnificent Vilnius community and to give them to future generations, to gather testimonies of survivors and lost stories that tell the community's story, help survivors and support them, and perpetuate the memory of those who perished. The organization has held dozens of cultural events over the years, He has a library, as well as legacy trips to Vilnius and the surrounding cities, and is in close contact with the community in Lithuania and the embassies in Lithuania and Israel.
